What We Do

WHAT WE DO

The Senior Law Day Collaborative offer free educational seminars and one-to-one 15-minute consultations, tapping the knowledge and energy of attorneys, financial planners, and geriatric care managers. We offer the opportunity to meet with experts who can provide authoritative advice on important, and sometimes not-so-easy to discuss topics, such as:

  • housing options
  • wills vs. trusts
  • ways to pay for long-term care
  • how to put your estate in order

How to Access our Services

Want to know more right away? A valuable guide to elder law topics is the annually updated Elder Law Q&A (available in English and Spanish). You can also review our Workshop Topics  to find out more about what these professionals can share. Our calendar of workshops is regularly updated.

Senior Law Day programs are presented by the Westchester County Public Private Partnership for Aging Services, the Westchester County Department of Senior Programs and Services, and attorneys, financial advisers and care managers from the public and private sectors.

Senior Law Day programs are free and address all aspects of elder law, financial planning and geriatric care management.

Our consultation events, originally held just once a year, are now held every three months on Zoom (10am-12pm); we hope to resume in-person programming in 2023.  Our educational events are now offered every two weeks via Zoom.  Check here for the event calendar and here for recordings of past educational programs.
