Essential Online Health Information for Older Adults

ESSENTIAL ONLINE HEALTH INFORMATION FOR OLDER ADULTS

In collaboration with the Westchester Library System, Senior Law Day programming now includes guidance for older adults in navigating essential online tools.  The program – Essential Online Health Information for Older Adults – reviews current online resources that can be used to research health topics and evaluate and manage health services.  In addition to demonstrating how to use each resource, tips on internet privacy and tools for managing online information were discussed.  The program will be continually updated to reflect new resources, tips and techniques.

Resources described in the program are detailed in this guide:  Essential Online Health Information for Older Adults (September 2020)You can download the guide for free via THIS LINK.  Copies were made available at libraries in November 2018 thanks to a generous grant from the National Library of Medicine.
